About

Matt Batchelor is a cinematographer shooting commercials, music videos, and narratives across the globe.

Cutting his teeth shooting documentaries, Matt brings that instinct and taste into his work;
striving for an honest frame and one that always serves the story.

His credits are many and include the projects and collaborators that can be found at the bottom of this page.

He has worked for brands such as Google, H&M, Under Armour, NY Times, Toyota, and many others.

He credits much of his inspiration and focus to the great photography works of his late grandfather,
Caswell Batchelor, who served as a WWII photographer.

Matt just wrapped Nan Feix’s feature narrative directorial debut about a Vietnamese chef in NYC’s Chinatown neighborhood. Matt is also in production on two feature documentaries.
